I attended Wilson County Schools and graduated from Wilson Community College, Kaplan University, and American Intercontinental University, earning degrees in Paralegal Technology, Legal Studies, and Business Administration with a Specialization in Accounting. Presently, I possess 13 years of experience across banking, compliance, risk, legal, and regulatory reporting sectors. In my leisure time, I enjoy traveling, reading, attending local events, and exploring new eateries.

Commissioner Re’ginald Parker Shaw-Richardson, a proud native of Wilson, North Carolina, is a dedicated advocate for social change and a seasoned professional in the real estate industry. After graduating from James B. Hunt High School, he pursued his passion for real estate, obtaining credentials in Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. His extensive experience and profound love for real estate drive his commitment to promoting community well-being and engagement. With over 30 years of expertise in real estate and property management throughout the Washington Metropolitan Area, Commissioner Shaw-Richardson has garnered numerous accolades for his exceptional work, reflecting his pursuit of excellence in the field. Since 2018, he has served as a Mayoral Appointee on the Washington, D.C. Regional Planning Commission on Health and HIV (COHAH), engaging in critical discussions and initiatives that shape public health and support community welfare. His influence extends beyond COHAH, as he holds various leadership roles on both national and local boards and committees dedicated to enhancing community development. Dr. Christopher Chauncy currently serves as Global Marketing Director of HIV Franchise, at Gilead Sciences. In his work he focuses on developing marketing and communication strategies that support building and establishing market awareness around HIV prevention and treatment with a particular focus among minority communities globally. He is a graduate of NC A&T State University with a degree in Biology, holds a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Lincoln University in Philadelphia, PA, and obtained his Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Watson’s prior education and roles have influenced systems of care at local and international levels and from this work and includes environmental and society norms as drivers to improve health equity for all. Dr. Watson’s has several published peer review articles describing the blueprint for engaging minorities in clinical trials that are currently being used at Fortune 500 companies. In his spare time, Dr. Watson is working to become a yoga instructor, enjoys traveling, cooking, learning and immersion in new cultures around the world.
